press release 2017/001
Since 12/31/2016, Kinomics GmbH
is in Liquidation (i.L.). This process takes one
year and will be finalized at the end of 2017.
With the invention of Multi-Step
Kinetics (MSK) and in cooperation with Biacore
(now GE Health Care), Kinomics created pioneering
simplifications in biosensor measurements that
have been stated to be impossible.
"In total, this is a fantastic
success, which makes me pleased to look back at
15 years of founding and leading the company.
However, I will retire this year and therefore
closing down the business in order to follow up
various private activities", said Hans-H.
Trutnau, Kinomics founder and liquidator. "I
may consider to further offer support for MSK
users or how to create a Trutnau plot manually,
i.e., without the need for any specific software
except a simple spread sheet", he adds.
The Trutnau plot examines a MSK
measurement in a particular way and is the first
and only kinetics plot that determines separately
two important kinetics variables (kass and Rmax).
The plot also tells if and where the measurement
runs under so-called mass-transport limitation
(for further info, see http://www.kinomics.com/literatur_product-note_en.php?lid=3).
Kinomics GmbH was founded in November
2004 by Hans-H. Trutnau as a privately-held company.
The Company is dedicated to offering innovative
software solutions and consulting services in
order to save time and material in biomolecular
interaction analysis based on SPR-based biosensors.
Hans-H. Trutnau has nearly 25 years of sales,
marketing, and development experience of such
biosensors and has applied for several patents
in this field.
